It raises issue with the concentration of wealth, power, and military power specifically, in the hands of a few sociopathic individuals. And it offers a realistic view of what the tenets of a new culture of peace and prosperity might entail. In all my 83 years I have never read any book, including the Christian and Judaic versions of the Bible, which offers so much depth in the guise of a novel. Does the philosophy, does the criticism, does the suggested manner of dealing with our current situation have flaws. I will leave that to you... I ended up enjoying this book more than I thought I would when I first started it.
