How to eliminate the nuclear threat!

Until our systems of governance give the people, the electorate, the power to remove sociopathic leaders from power, those leaders, by their very nature, will continue to escalate the nuclear arsenals and use them as a threat and a means of keeping other nations and the world, hostage. We must amend our democratic systems in such a way that without compromising the system of democracy, criminals and sociopaths are prevented from escalating to the top where they can hijack the power for abusive purposes. Right now, democratically-based nations such as the United States and Israel, who possess over 5,000 nuclear weapons between them, have hijacked the democratic process, and their own citizens are virtually powerless to remove these dictators from office – which defies the very essence of democracy itself. This is what we must address before any meaningful dialogues can occur about riding the world of the nuclear threat.
